]]>It seems like it was yesterday I was taking Matt and Katie's maternity pictures and now their sweet Bella is 7 months old. She is an adorable little lady. She loves snuggling with her Mama, kisses, her rattle, wiggling around and being in her Daddy's arms. Katie is a beautiful Mommy and so great at it and Bella has already got her Daddy wrapped around her finger. Precious.

Amanda & Ryan Wedding & Rehearsal Dinner

]]>This wedding was a blast! Amanda and Ryan were married in Memphis and really reflected so much of this town's character in their wedding. I never knew it was such a happening place.

Amanda and Ryan are a seamless fit for each other. They are both so kind and caring and love to have fun too. I learned so much about them through the toasts from their amazing friends at the rehearsal dinner.

One thing I remember most about this day was how excited and nervous the so-called laid back groom was. He must have glanced in the direction of the bride's room a hundred times before he made his way to the front of the sanctuary. He could not wait to get a glimpse of his bride. And Amanda was gorgeous! She has a smile that just immediately brightens the room. They made their commitments to each other with family and friends to witness and celebrated in grand fashion at the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art.

]]>I love kids! They make my heart smile....especially this little guy. If I didn't have one already for myself, Elijah would have had me....hook, line and sinker.

He didn't hesitate to let me know who was going to be in charge of the photo shoot. Before they even put his feet to the ground, they were already going, reminded me a little of roadrunner, the cartoon character. He is FAST! It's a good thing Adam and Anna have longer legs, because I'm not sure they would ever catch him. :) So I changed my approach a little, which I enjoyed. As a parent, I can't give in or show any sign of weakness. Since I was the photographer in this case, I let Elijah run the show, and he did. We all got a work out chasing him all over the pioneer museum. He is at the age where he doesn't really want to do anything but run. We caught a few when Mom and Dad held him tight and I bribed him with Mickey Mouse. It worked like a charm (great idea Anna). It even worked pretty good on Adam and Anna too, they were cracking up just as much as Elijah was. I might just have a new strategy; it's way more fun than "1, 2, 3, smile!"

Anna and I go way back, I mean waaaayyyy back. We went to elementary school together. Yep, even in Girl Scouts together...Troop 339 that is. Her Dad always called me Marco-Polo. Don't remember why. We ended up in different middle and high schools, but met back up again in a scholarship program at Troy. I was honored to photograph Adam and Anna's wedding, and now have had the joy of capturing memories for their family. We have come full circle!

Adam and Anna, you two are an awesome pair, and have created such a beautiful little family. It was great to see you and catch up. Blessings to you.
